Carlton B. Young, Jr.'s Obituary
Como – Carlton Bruce "Sonny" Young, Jr., 74, passed December 29, 2012 in his home with his family by his side. Mr. Young was a native of Newport News, VA, a son of the late Carlton B. Young and Lola Victoria Morgan Young. He was a retired boilermaker.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Margie Hassell Young, one daughter, Cindy Gore and her husband Harold, one son Carlton Bruce Young III, all of Como, one brother, Bobby Young of Newport News, VA, two grandchildren, Jennifer Futrell and husband Scott, Ashley Eure and husband Tony, one great-grandchild, Trinity Eure
A private family celebration of Mr. Young's life will be at the residence at a later date. Please omit flowers. Memorial donations may be made to Margie Young, 306 Ebo Road, Como N.C. 27818. The family would like to thank the staff of Roanoke Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie and Vidant Hospice of Ahoskie.
