Suffolk – Byron Todd Walker, 58, passed away on December 5, 2022 in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

Todd was born on February 11, 1964 in Welch, West Virginia and was a welder and wire room attendant for Norfolk Naval Shipyard.  He was a former life insurance agent for Woodman of the World and Knights of Columbus and was a former member of St. Jude's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Catholic Church, and Knights of Columbus.

He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and an avid hunter.  Todd was very proud of his membership in AA and his 5 years of sobriety.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 29 years, Michelle Denise Walker; his father, Keith Walker (Donna); his mother, Carolyn Gillespie (Danny); a daughter, Rhiannon Gabrielle Walker (James); a son, Blake Aaron Walker; two brothers, Steve Walker (Melissa) and Wally Gillespie; and a grand dog, Kane.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 2 to 4PM Friday, December 9, 2022 in Wright Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Todd's memory to your favorite charity.
