Bruce Reinhardt Jones, 52, passed away suddenly on June 3, 2013. Bruce was born in Greenville, NC and was a Bridge Superintendent with English Construction of Lynchburg. He was predeceased by a sister, Suzy Jones, and a grandmother, Marjorie Davis.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Rita Beltrami Jones; son, Bruce L. Jones of Virginia Beach; daughter, Marjorie Jones of Roanoke; parents, William Lawrence and Mae Davis Jones of Clarksville; father and mother-in-law, Ernest and Mary Beltrami of Franklin; "adopted daughter" Kelly Thompson and a host of other extended family and friends.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013 at St. Jude's Catholic Church, 1014 Clay St., Franklin, with the Rev. Fr. Carl DeSouza and Rev. Fr. Charles Saglio officiating. Burial will follow in the Beltrami Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cape Henry Towers, 3288 Page Ave., Virginia Beach and on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home, 206 W. 4th Ave., Franklin.
