Courtland- Grover Britt Edge, III, 46, passed away December 8, 2015 at VCU-MCV Medical Center in Richmond after a long illness.

He was a retired welder and enjoyed fishing, the Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon.

Left to cherish his memory is his parents, Charlie and Peggy Edge, a daughter, Leah Edge, two sons, Gregory Britt Edge and Tyler Wade Edge, two sisters, Cindy Blythe and Shelia Brewer, a special aunt, Barbara Stott Dement, a special friend who was like a brother, Johnny Mulder and two grandchildren.

Britt was predeceased by his four year old brother, Gregory Britt Edge.

A graveside service will be held at 2PM Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Southampton Memorial Park with the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin from 6 to 8PM Saturday.
