Sunbury, N.C. – Brenda Joyce Watley, 67, was received by her Savior on February 27, 2012. She was a loving and selfless person who always put everyone before herself, especially her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Carla M. Whaley and Lisa K. Parker; brothers, James T. Vaughan and wife, Mary, Robert C. Vaughan and wife, Janice and Melton A. Vaughan and wife, Renee; grandchildren, Jeff, Tosha, Kenny, Leona, Michelle, and Dustin and great-grandchildren, Hailey, Austin, Michael, Sheri, Celest, Kayla, Victoria, Tony, Hermione, Harley, Amber, Kaitlyn and Jacob.
A funeral will be held at 2 pm Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with Pastor Tim Dannelly officiating. Burial will follow at Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, March 2, 2012 from 7 to 8:30 pm at the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
