Franklin – Brenda Delbridge Romines, 73, passed away December 14, 2024 in Sentara Obici Hospital.  Born in Franklin, she was a daughter of the late Joe Edward Delbridge and Myrtle Raiford Delbridge.  She was also predeceased by a step-daughter, Lisa R. Harrup, and a grandson, Eddie Harrup.

Brenda was a 1971 graduate of Greensville High School and was a retired Benefits Administrator in the Industrial Relations Depart of Union Camp Corporation with 22 years of service.  She was a member of Word of Life Assembly of God in Emporia.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 42 years, Olin Gene Romines; a daughter, Tina Faison Cranmore (Ron) of Emporia; a step-son, Dennis Gene Romines (Krystal) of Carrsville; two sisters, Molly D. Harrup of Emporia and Christine D. Williams of Sydney, OH; five grandchildren, Jeremy Cranmore (Erin), Chayton Cranmore, Kele Cranmore, Trevor Romines, and Elijah Harrup; and four great grandchildren, Serene, Scarlett, Emmitt, and Brooklyn.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1PM Tuesday, December 17, 2024 in Southampton Memorial Park with Pastor Larry Walczykowski officiating. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Lung Association.
