Courtland – Brenda Raiford Luna, 79, passed away July 16, 2022.

Ms. Luna was a native of Southampton County and was a daughter of the late John Shelton Raiford and Sadie Bass Raiford. She was also predeceased by a son, Troy T. Luna and his wife Debbie.

She was a graduate of Franklin High School and a member of Courtland Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Marie Luna – Ketter (Jay) of Topeka, KS, a son Noel E. Luna (Pamela) of Gainesville, MO,a sister, Audrey Gagner of Courtland, a brother, John W. "Billy" Raiford (Joan) of Franklin, six grandchildren, Zaccariah and Joshua, Travis and Jenifer, Jacelyn  and Ian, 12 great-grandchildren, Archer, Ainsley, Audie, Kristin, Desiray, Angel, Adilynn, Wyatt, Braston, Kylor, Kaylee, and Leland.

A graveside service will be held at 3PM Monday, July 18, 2022 at Southampton Memorial Park, with Dr. Robert Carpenter officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Courtland Baptist Church
