Courtland – Brenda Catherine Ellis Boyce, 66, passed away March 23, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 21, 1951, in Franklin to the late William Ashley and Dorothy Elizabeth Butler Ellis. Brenda was also predeceased by a sister Vivian Griggs and a brother Thomas Turner.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 51 years Thomas Lafayette Boyce, Sr.; three daughters Yvette Farrenkopf (Daniel) of Suffolk, Candy Baines (Tim) of Suffolk, and Cheryl Burch of Courtland; one son Thomas L. Boyce, Jr. (Heather) of Suffolk; three sisters Evelyn Whitehead, Ann Tew (Harvey) and Wanda Rountree (Steve); one brother David Turner; thirteen grandchildren Jef Fisk (Amy), Jessica Dalton (Josh), Daniel Burch (Erin), Kristin Strohl (Adam), Blake Farrenkopf (Angela), Brandon Burch (Casey), Dylan Farrenkopf (Ciara), Micaela Fisk (Cody), Brianna Powell (Johnathon), Amber Boyce, Alexis Boyce, Miranda Morrill, and Savannah Boyce; and sixteen great grandchildren Jaedan, Alysa, Jocelyn, Mason, Easton, Jaxen, Maddox, Liam, Hunter, Riley, Blaine, Kellan, Noah, Charlotte, Autumn, Selah.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM on Monday, March 26, 2018, at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with Pastor Tony Peaks officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
