Carrsville – Brenda Hedgepeth Babb, 63, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011. She was born in Isle of Wight County, a daughter of the late Lloyd L. Hedgepeth "Pelius" and Madeline Johnson Hedgepeth, and was predeceased by a brother, David Allen Hedgepeth. She was retired from VDOT and was a member of Colosse Baptist Church.
She is survived by one sister, Nancy Hedgepeth "Polly" Flowers and husband, Ralph, two brothers, Lewis Leonard Hedgepeth and Sidney Gordan Hedgepeth, four nieces; nine nephews, and many special friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at 7 pm Thursday, July 7, 2011, at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Speight officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
