Obituary

Franklin - Boyd O. Kellogg, age 90, went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2019.  Born in Taylor, New York, he was a son of the late Charles Ray Kellogg and Mae Estelle Sergent Kellogg.  Boyd was a member of the Courtland Baptist Church, the Ellis Bible Class, member of the Choir and Bell Choir, and past Deacon.  He was a member of the Marathon Lodge #438 , Cincinnatus, NY., a veteran of the Korean War where he served in the U.S. Navy's VF 71 Squadron.  Bud (as he was known to all) was Vice President and Administrative Consultant of C. Ray Kellogg Co. and Central Water Systems.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Hancock Kellogg, son, Carl R. Kellogg (Nonie) of Smithfield, daughter, Carol Mae Kellogg Miller (Gary) of Smithfield, stepdaughters, Victoria R. Ludlam (Frank) of Richmond, and Pat Infantine of New York, stepsons, Eric Webb (Susie) of New Hampshire and Donald Potter of Smithfield, four grandchildren, Celeste Kellogg, Jessica Donaldson (Jeff), Isaac Spencer (Jennifer), and Tyler Ludlam, four great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Rachael, Collin, and Jacob Spencer.  He is predeceased by his daughter, Linda Kellogg Hawley, sisters Veronica Althea Beckwith and Lora Marie Lansdowne and brothers, George Raymond Kellogg and Lawrence Donald Kellogg.

Our thanks go out to our special friends and caregivers who gave Bud and Ann love, friendship, and support, Kathy Williams, Linda Hill, Wendy Langston, and Hope Hall.

Services will be conducted in the Chapel of Wright Funeral Home at 2PM on Monday, December 30 th by the Reverends Dr. John Paul Lotz, Pastor and Reverend Bill McCarron, assistant Pastor.  Following the service, interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland, VA.  Afterwards, family and friends will gather in the fellowship hall at Courtland Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 29 th from 5PM to 6:30 PM at Wright Funeral Home and suggest memorial donations be made to the Courtland Baptist Church, P.O. Box 148, Courtland, VA  23837.
