Franklin – Bonnie Myers Pittman, 69, passed away Friday, December 29 2023 in Southampton Memorial Hospital.  She was a daughter of the late Elben Thomas Myers and Myrtle I Myers and was also predeceased by her husband, Leon Rollison Pittman, Jr. who passed away December 29, 2022.  Bonnie was also predeceased by two sisters, Robin M. Halsey and Dawn M. Parker.

Bonnie was a longtime employee of Family Practice in Franklin and had retired from the Virginia Department of Health.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Nicholas Lee Pittman (Sarah) and Joshua Warren Pittman; three grandchildren, Trevor Rollison Pittman, Brayden Pierce Pittman, and Addison Mae Pittman; two sisters, Deborah M. Snead (Joe) and Sharon Myers; one brother, Thomas Edward Myers; an uncle, Warren Myers (Annette), step-mother, Beverly S. Myers; and three sisters-in-law, Judy Pittman Blythe, Beverly Pittman Hardison, and Becky Pittman Whitfield.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM Thursday, January 4, 2024 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. James H. Hyatt, Jr. officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
