Bonnie Barnes Hasty

Courtland – Bonnie Barnes Hasty, 89, passed away November 2, 2026 in Fairview Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Born and raised in Southampton County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Theodore Barnes, Sr. and Margaret Whitehead Barnes. She was also predeceased by her husband, Herbert Lee Hasty, Jr.; a sister, Sarah Womble; and a brother, Bobby Barnes.

Bonnie was a graduate of Courtland High School, a former office manager for Mackans Office Supply and a former office manager for Greg Lohr. She was a member of Courtland Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Debbie Bradshaw Fuller; a son, Robbie Lee Hasty (Ercelle); three grandchildren, Shanon Koehler, Amy Bradshaw, and C. W. Bradshaw, II; nine great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; and two nieces and two nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11AM Thursday, November 5, 2026 in Riverside Cemetery in Courtland with Rev. Tom Wallace officiating. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Newsoms Baptist Church Building Fund or a favorite charity.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at East Pavilion for their wonderful care.
