Sedley – William Elisha "Billy" Jones, Jr., 69, passed away November 21, 2020 in his home.  Born in Franklin, he was the son of the late William Elisha "Bill" Jones, Sr. and Elna Forrest Jones and was also predeceased by a sister, Lynne Jones Kea.

Billy attended Southampton High School and held jobs as a mechanic and auto body repairman.  Billy loved racing and some of his favorite times were participating with his friends and family in auto and motorcycle racing.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Venita Hewitt of Sedley and Lou Anne Davis (Jeff) of Courtland; a brother-in-law, Buddy Kea; nephews, Sonny (Marisa), Dan (Brad), Jay (Danielle), and Trey (Tara); a niece, Elizabeth (Adam); great nephews, Forrest, Peyton, and Jackson; and great niece, Sophia. and Lillian
