Franklin – Billy Weeks Banks, 79, passed away peacefully at Sentara Obici Hospital on March 17, 2022 with his wife and son by his side.  He is predeceased by his parents Edward P. Banks, Sr. and Eunice Banks of Murfreesboro, NC and father and mother-in-law from Winnemucca, Nevada.

Billy was a graduate of Murfreesboro High School and a US Air Force Veteran.  He was a retired Sheet Finishing Machine Operator for Union Camp Corporation.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years, Charlotte; his son, Brian and his wife Elaine of Franklin; grandson, Dallas and granddaughter, Cheyanne of Franklin; brother, Pat, Jr. and wife Sheila of Indian Harbor Beach, FL; three great and loving nephews; many wonderful cousins; and one special Aunt John.

As per Billy's request, there will be no funeral service.  His last parting words were "I Love You More".  Burial will be private at a later date.
