Margarettsville, N. C. – Bill Fred Reece, 77 died August 2, 2007. Born in Gloucester, Va., he was a son of the late Charles and Stella Parson Reece. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a retired maintenance supervisor at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 23 years, Sherry Jones Reece; one daughter, Betsy Boyce of Windsor; three sons, Charles Reece and Robert Reece, both of Margaretsville, and Michael Reece of Washburg, Wa; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, one sister, Judy Jones; and four brothers, Tom, Ronald, Edward, and Charles E. Reece. Mr. Reece was predeceased by three brothers, Clarence, David, and Roger Reece.
The family will receive friends at the residence Tuesday, August 7, from 6 to 8 pm. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, Va., is assisting the family.
