Courtland – Betty Jean Revels Lambdin "Nana", 76, passed away December 20, 2016 peacefully at home with her daughter by her side. Her children and their families lovingly cared for her during her short journey with cancer. She was married to the late James W. "Bill" Lambdin, MD in October 1987. She was a daughter of the late John Alfred and Mary Bell Lilley Revels of Williamston, NC and was also predeceased by an infant sister, Lydia Sue Revels and sister, Della Taylor, two brothers, John "Russell" and Willie Revels all of Williamston, NC and a stepson, James "BB" Lambdin, Jr and her best friend, Christine Evans.

She enjoyed spending time on the Outer Banks searching for beach glass.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her son, Stanley Harrell and his wife Linda and her children, Matthew, Christian and Lauren, her daughter, Kimberly Williams and her husband Danny and their daughter, Leslie, who was loved dearly by her Nana, her sisters, Marie Robinson, Mary Dare Bowen and a brother, Archie Revels, Bill's children, Carol Lynn, Dale Brett (William), Margaret Palau and Rebecca Lambdin.

The funeral will be conducted at 11AM Friday December 23, 2016 in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Robert Carpenter officiating. The burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8PM at the funeral home and suggests that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the church of your choice.
