Franklin – Bernice Cutchins Rogers, 89, widow of James B. Rogers, passed away May 4, 2020 in the East Pavilion.  She was a daughter of the late Joseph Crawford Cutchins and Virgie Viola Coggsdale Cutchins and was also predeceased by a sister Earnestine Drake Wade, three brothers Roger Lee, Carlton, and J.C. Cutchins, two half sisters Blanche Haldeman and Thelma C. Williams, and one half brother Jack Cutchins.

Bernice was a 1947 graduate of Franklin High School and a retired secretary for St. Regis Paper Company after 37 years of service.  She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are two step-sons, Donnie and Jimmy Rogers; a sister Faye Cutchins Porter (Kenny); a sister-in-law Flora Cutchins; and many nieces and nephews who knew her as "Aunt BB".

A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 in Southampton Memorial Park with the Rev. Steve Gibson officiating.  The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Baptist Church.
