Franklin- Bernice Darden Worrell, 87, widow of Grover Morris Worrell passed away August 26, 2016. Bernice was a native of Nansemond County and was a daughter of the late George Thomas and Eulice Williford Darden. She was also predeceased by a sister, Ella Mae Woolard and a brother, Willie Lee Darden.

Bernice was retired from Contel Telephone Company.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Mike Worrell and his wife Gloria, one sister, Barbara "Bobbie" Lowe all of Franklin and two grand cats, Allie and Poof.

The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home from 6 to 8PM Monday, August 29, 2016. Burial will be private. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
