Courtland – Barbara Anne Pittman, 81, widow of William Thomas "Tommy" Pittman, Jr., passed away November 29, 2018.  Born in Neptune, New Jersey, Barbara was the daughter of the late Leon Russell Layton and Anne Loper Layton and was also predeceased by a step-son Hugh G. Pittman.  She was a member of Courtland United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three step-sons William T. "Bill" Pittman, III (April), Wilmer Pittman (Linda), and John Pittman; one brother Robert Charles Layton (Judy); a daughter-in-law Robin Pittman; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, December 2, 2018 in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland with Rev. Bill McClung, Jr. officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Courtland United Methodist Church.  www.wrightfuneralhome.org
