Franklin – Barbara Sue Holland, 85, passed away on May 11, 2023 in her home. Born in Peoria, Illinois on October 15, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Harry B. Greenslitt and Grace E. Furr Greenslitt. She was also predeceased by her husband, James H. "Jimmy" Holland Sr. and her fur baby, Sammie.

Barbara was a farmer and a member of Woodland Christian Church in Windsor.

Left to cherish her memory is three daughters, Debra Holland, Cheryl Willis (Ron), and Patricia Whitley (Frankie); a son, James H. Holland, Jr. (Lady); a sister, Shirley Allsup; a brother, Raymond Greenslitt; six grandchildren, Jonathan Whitley (Brandi), Chris Whitley (Jules), Kevin Whitley (Amy), Travis Holland (Erin), Marissa Myers (Aaron), and Alicia Alkire; eleven great grandchildren, Claire Whitley, Finley Myers, Dylan Myers, Gage Whitley, Emerson Whitley, Zavion Parker, Alex Parker, Kylar Holland, Dallas Holland, Elle Holland, and Camryn Holland; her special friends, Joyce Borg and Rita Edwards; and a special caregiver, Annette Giles.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM Friday, August 18, 2023 in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to your favorite charity.
