Franklin – Barbara Vinson Gray, 77, passed away April 19, 2021 in Sentara Obici Hospital.  Born in Franklin on July 9, 1943, she was the daughter of the late James Tommie Vinson and Jean Drake Vinson.  Barbara is also predeceased by a brother, Wilson Vinson.

Barbara was a 1961 graduate of Franklin High School and a graduate of Pan American Business School in Richmond.  She was a fabulous cook, loved to work on crafts and go to craft shows and absolutely loved Christmas.  Barbara was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 32 years, Lonnie Lee Gray, Jr.; a son, Loyd "Brad" Bradshaw, III and his wife Bethanne of Suffolk; two grandchildren, Rachel and Matthew Bradshaw; and a great grandchild, Willow.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM Thursday, April 22, 2021, in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Gibson officiating.  Burial will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery off of Homestead Lane.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
