Zuni – Audrey Ann Ewell Spencer, 78, passed away March 2, 2026 in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.  Born in Norfolk, she was a daughter of the late William Emory Ewell and Lillian Virginia Upton Ewell.  She was also predeceased by her husband, Roger Carlyle Spencer; three sisters, Betty Jean Pangle, Shirley Christenson, and Elsie Mae Tiedeman; and a brother, William Emory Ewell, Jr.

Audrey was a graduate of Great Bridge High School and a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sherrie Davis (David) of Chesapeake; her son, Larry Franklin Marshall, Jr. of North Carolina; daughter, Linda Smith of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Emory and Joseph Ewell; five grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, and Austin Davis and James and Katie Smith; and great grandchildren, Pasley, Oakland, Adeline Smith.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3PM Sunday, March 15, 2026 in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Faison officiating.  Burial will be private.  Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
