Franklin- Anthony David Williams, Sr., 55, of 100 Forest Pine Rd., Apt. A Franklin, VA died Tuesday, September 13, 2016 . A native of Norfolk, he was employed by the City of Suffolk and was a member of New Saint James Holiness in Norfolk from childhood where he served as a minister of music. In 2013 he became a member of On The Move For God Apostolic Ministries, Franklin VA. He was a graduate of Maury High School.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Minister Deanna R. Williams, children, Porsha D. Pierce of Portsmouth, Jaleesa A. Pierce of Franklin, Anthony D. Williams, Jr of Suffolk, grandchildren, Jamyrah A. Pierce, Aniyah J. Pierce both of Franklin, father, Deacon Steven R. Williams, Sr, mother, Elder Martha Williams, six sisters and one deceased, one brother and two deceased, one Godson, De'Arius Franklin of Suffolk, mother-in-law, Missionary Juareline Diggs, father-in-law, Sim Louis Diggs, father-in-law, Andrew M. Brown (Deanna's father), two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1PM Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with Pastor Paulette E. Eley officiating, Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
