Courtland – Anna Rechner Hubbert, 82, passed away August 7, 2021 in the Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.  Born in Germany on October 4, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Ludwig and Anna Fuchs Rechner.

Anna was a long time hotel clerk at the Comfort Inn in Franklin and a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Mark Hubbert; two sisters, Cilli and Christle; a grandson, Braxton Hubbert (Natalie); a great granddaughter, Avianna Hubbert; and a cousin, Haness.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM Sunday, August 15, 2021 in St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Lawrence Mullaney officiating.  Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery.  The family suggests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Catholic Church.
