Courtland – Ann Buckner "Gran" Lee, 77, went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on April 10, 2025. Ann was born in Roanoke Rapids, NC and was brought up in Emporia. She was the only child of the late Charles Andrew and Elizabeth Edwards Buckner and was also predeceased by a grandson, James Harvey Lee, V.

Ann was a 1965 graduate of Greensville County High School.

She was a member of Courtland Baptist Church and retired office manager of J. H. Lee & Sons.

Ann was selfless and sweet and will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 56 years, James H. "Jimmy" Lee III, one daughter, Courtney Lee Applewhite and her husband Greg, one son, James H. "Jamie" Lee, IV and his wife Sherry, three grandchildren, Miranda Lee Coggsdale and her husband Zach, William Gregory "Will" Applewhite and his fiancée, Megan Doherty and Morgan Amanda Lee and her fiancé, Miles Beale.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 6 to 8pm at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin and suggests memorial donations be made to Courtland Baptist Church.
