Carrsville – Ann Byrd LaCasse, 81, passed away May 8, 2024 Consulate Healthcare of Windsor.  Born in Nansemond County, she was the daughter of the late Javie An Byrd, Jr. and Mary Cowley Byrd.   Ann was also predeceased by her husband, Danny C. Lacasse; a brother, Javie An Byrd, III; and an infant brother, Larry.

Ann was a craft specialist.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Teresa Kay McCaskey and her husband Ray; a son, Carl G. Byrd and his wife Barbara; four grandchildren, Justin (Amanda), Korbin, Katherine, and Marcus; seven great grandchildren; and her fur buddies, Lil Mae and Mollie.
