Cullowhee, NC – Ann Beryl Daw Spence, 85, widow of Robert Lee "Bobby" Spence, passed away on May 9, 2022 in the Solace Center in Ashville, NC.   Born in Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales, and a resident of Carrsville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Irene Morgan Daw.

Ann served in the Royal Air Force of England and was a retired Teacher's Aide for the Suffolk School System.  She spent many years supporting and helping the Boy Scouts.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Heather Ann Dunlow and her husband Ricky of Cullowhee, NC; a son, Robert Leslie "Bobby" Spence and his wife Cindy; a brother, Robert Daw; eight grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2PM Friday, May 13, 2022 in Southampton Memorial Park with Rev. Howard L. Vinson, Jr. officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM Thursday in Wright Funeral Home and suggests that memorial donations be made to any favorite charity.
