Handsom- Ann Fowler Britt, 84, widow of William Cook Britt, passed away May 2, 2016 at Consulate Healthcare of Windsor. Ann was a native of Southampton County and was the only child of the late Harry and Alice Fletcher Stone Fowler.

She was a member of Sunbeam Baptist Church.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Joyce B. Lee of Winton, NC, nieces and nephews, Katherine Wright, William T. Rhodes, Jr., Jimmy lee, Carolyn L. Turner, Calvin Sumner and Joey Sumner.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 6, 2016 at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Hoyle Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
