Suffolk – Anita Carolyn McCaskey, 82, passed away January 1, 2020 in her Sentara Obici Hospital.  Anita was born in Aulander, NC to the late Cecil and Bertha Phelps Newsome.  She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Lewis McCaskey, a daughter, Connie Johnson, and a sister, Margaret Parker.

Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Vicky M. Pool of Clanton, AL, her son, Paul L. McCaskey, Jr. of Suffolk, her brother, Luther Newsome (Barbara) of Franklin, and three grandchildren, Robert Bland, Lewis Bland, and Magen McCallister.

Services will be private.
