Newsoms - Andrea Britt Bryant, 66, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2018 at home with family by her side.  She was known by her nickname "Diddle" which she got the name from her favorite nursery rhymes, Hey Diddle Diddle & Diddle Dumpling.  She leaves behind the love of her life and best friend Raymond Davis Bryant Jr. "Bubba"; her daughters Brandi B. Francis (Lee) and Angela B. Pelley (Sam) which were her sunshine; her grandsons Ben and Jake Francis, the apples of her eye; her constant 4 legged companion, Pretty Girl; beloved sisters Anita B. Gay of Emporia, Janet Davis of California; and beloved brother Ronald O. Britt (Gail) of Roanoke Rapids.  She was the daughter of the late Mattie Tillery Britt and Alvin L. Britt of Boykins and was also predeceased by brothers Tony Britt of Boykins and Leslie H. Britt of Severn.  She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Her friends and family kept her going. She loved the outdoors and especially her "Happy Place" on Lake Gaston.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 6–8PM in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 2PM in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with Pastor Penny G. Rasnake officiating.  The burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery, Newsoms.
