Suffolk – Amelia Boyce Jones, 87, passed away December 30, 2020.  Born in Tyner, NC, she was a daughter of late Alexander L. Boyce and Eunice Inez Byrum Boyce. Amelia is also predeceased by two sisters, Velma Fanney and Hilda Matthews, and five brothers, Haywood Boyce, Marshall Boyce, A. J. Boyce, Joseph Boyce, and Guy Boyce.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of over 50 years, Ronald Edward Jones; a daughter, Paula Smith and her husband David of Suffolk; a son Ronald E. Jones, Jr. of Ahoskie; and four grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Justin Smith, Jayke Smith, and David Earl Jones.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, services will be held at a later date.
