Hermon Alvin Parker, 73, died August 9, 2012. A native of Suffolk, he was the son of the late Robert Herman and Pattie Weaver Parker and was a retired automobile mechanic. He was a member of Colosse Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, H.A. (Al) Parker, Jr. and wife, Theresa; a sister, Jane P. Scott, and husband, Johnny; a nephew, Scotty Scott, and his wife, Glenda, and their children, Lee and Jonathan Scott, Tina Cooley and her husband, Chris, Doug Bradshaw and Scotty and Glenda's granddaughter, Madison Cooley, all of Franklin and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held 11A.M., Monday, August 13, 2012 at Colosse Cemetery with the Rev. Willis Switzer officiating. Wright Funeral Home is assisting the family. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
