Zuni - Alfred Larue "Al" Lutz, 77, passed away January 17, 2015 at Southampton Memorial Hospital in Franklin, VA. Mr. Lutz was born in East Stroudsburg, PA and had been a resident of Southampton County since 1997. He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Florence Marshall Lutz and a brother, Richard Lutz.

Mr. Lutz was an Army veteran and a retired automobile mechanic. He was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Juanita Williams Lutz; three children, Dessie E. Lutz, Richard R. Lutz and Nellie A. Lutz; one sister, Nancy Evans; a brother, Ron Lutz; four step-children, Regina Ulmer, Jeremy Pace, Yvonne Hartman and Lori-Le Collazo; his dear friend and mother of his children, Janit Lutz; 26 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Black Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Kitts officiating. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
