Obituary

Suffolk – Alene Felton Everett, 93, passed away March 24, 2017 at Southampton Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Gates County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Timothy and Sue Eure Felton and was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, I.A. Everett, Jr. ; three brothers, Atmill, Dick and Jack Felton; one sister, Gertrude Smith, one son in law, Robert Earl Rhodes, one niece, Renae Piland and two nephews, Drew Piland and Amos Pierce.

She was a lifelong member of Eure Christian Church and had retired from Roses 5 & 10 in Franklin.

Left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Annie Sue Blythe and her husband, Mac, Maggie E. Rhodes and Sharon E. Piersa and husband, Billy all of Franklin; four grandchildren, Teresa R. Unser (Jerry), Delbert E. Blythe (Angela), Sherry P. Lee (Jamie) and Holly Doyle and ten great-grandchildren, Dillon , Amber and Winston Blythe, Miranda , James V, and Morgan Lee, Kimberly and Jerome Unser, Trevor Lee Harrell and Alayna Doyle and a special friend and companion, Robert E. Goodman and a host of nieces and nephews .

The funeral will be held at 2PM Monday March 27, 2017 in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with the Rev. Wayne Gardner and Rev. James Hyatt, Jr officiating. Burial will follow at Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Eure Christian Church, Suffolk Fire and Rescue, Delaware Hunt Club or charity of your choice. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
