Newsoms – Abbigail Marie "Abbi" Drake, infant daughter of Justin and Casey Drake,
passed away October 14, 2009 at the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. Abbi was born October 6, 2009 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Besides her parents, she is survived by her brother, Carson Drake; maternal grandparents, Richard and Rita Gray; paternal grandparents, Joe and Linda Drake; paternal great-grandparents, R. E. and Hilda Drake and Patsy Tomlin; aunt, Laura Gray; and was predeceased by an uncle, Stephen Drake.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am Monday, Oct. 19, at Hollywood Cemetery with the Rev. Darwin Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence and suggests memorials be made to Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, 601 Children's Lane, Norfolk, Va. 23507. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is assisting the family.
